Looking Ahead: Mass on Sunday, June 14th will be changed to 8:30 am in Sykeston as Carrington will be celebrating their Sacred Heart Feast Day with a potluck picnic after a 11:00 am Mass in Carrington on Sunday, June 14.

Stewardship Moment: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son…” John 3:16 Is your love conditional? Is there a price others have to pay to receive your love and forgiveness? Are you generous with your time, skills, money and possessions? If you give someone something, do you expect something in return? Do you give your time freely or do you “fit it in” when it’s convenient for you? God desires a personal relationship with us so much that He gave us His Son, unconditionally! Pray for a grateful and generous heart.

Feast of Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession: Sunday, June 7th, we will have a Eucharistic Procession of the Blessed Sacrament following Mass. We hope as many as can will participate in the procession around the block.

Ordinations: The Diocese of Fargo will soon celebrate ordinations to the diaconate and priesthood, and it promises to be a joyful occasion! On Fri, June 5th, Bishop Folda will ordain Paul Zach to the transitional diaconate, and he will serve as a deacon in Fargo and St. Paul during his final year in seminary formation. Then, on Sat, June 6th, Bishop Folda will ordain five new priests for our diocese: Garrett Aberle, Brendon Schneibel, Patrick Sorrells, Richard Stenger, and Taylor Ternes. This will be the largest ordinations class in over twenty years! Needless to say, we have many reasons to praise and thank God! Please keep these fine young men and new priests in your prayers!

Fr. Leier On Retreat: I will be away at Maryvale this week from Mon–Fri on my annual spiritual retreat. Then I will be heading to Fargo for the ordinations on Friday night and Saturday morning. Weekday Masses, Adoration, and Confessions will be cancelled while I’m gone. I’ll be praying for you while on retreat, please pray for me as well. Thank you and God bless! –Fr. Leier
