St Elizabeth’s Church Annual Fall Dinner/Bazaar Sunday Oct. 11th, serving from 11:30-1pm. Meal includes: Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Scalloped Corn, Glazed Carrots, Relish, Buns, Dessert, and refreshments. Adults/Sr & Jr High-$15, K-6-$7, and Preschool-$3. Take Outs available. There will be a Gift Bucket & Calk Walk starting at 1pm. At 2pm we will have 20 games of bingo that will include two blackouts. Group 1 will be in charge this year.

Stewardship Moment: “Do nothing out of selfishness; rather, humbly regard others as more important than yourselves…” Philippians 2:3 Pride and ego are hard things to control. We see how others act or dress and think we are superior to them. We idolize our own self-image. But, if we truly believe everything is a gift from God, we recognize all the people that God has put in our lives as gifts! We are grateful for how they enrich our lives. Pray every day for the people in your life: your family, your friends and those who make you angry.

Presbyterate Days, Sept. 27-Sept. 30: Fr. Leier will be at the Maryvale Retreat Center Sunday evening through Wednesday this week attending the annual Presbyterate Days gathering of all the priests of our diocese. In Fr. Leier’s absence, Mass, Adoration and Confessions will be cancelled on Tues. and Wed. (Sept. 29-30). Please pray for all of our priests as they come together for this very important gathering to strengthen their vocation and brotherhood as Priests of Jesus Christ in order to serve the faithful of our diocese to the fullest.

Today, a video will be shown from Catholic Charities of North Dakota in Fargo. This year, it is highlighting adoptive and guardianship families and the support available through the North Dakota Post Permanency Network (formerly known as the Post Adopt Network). Adoption is a beautiful beginning, but families may continue to need connection, guidance, and support as children grow. Through the Network, families can access education, mentoring, family events, resources, and individualized support at no cost. Envelopes are available in the pews today (9/27) for you to take home and mail your donation directly to Catholic Charities of North Dakota.

 Beatification Of Archbishop Fulton Sheen (Sept. 24, 2026): Sheen is the first American-born bishop and the first television host beatified by the Church. Fulton J. Sheen (1895–1979) was one of the 20th century’s most prominent Catholic evangelists, pioneering the use of radio and television to proclaim the Gospel. His 1950s TV program Life Is Worth Living reached tens of millions, and he won an Emmy Award for Most Outstanding TV Personality. His cause for sainthood was opened in 2002; Pope Benedict XVI declared him Venerable in 2012, and Pope Francis approved the miracle in 2019, enabling his beatification.
