Stewardship Moment: “For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.” - Matthew 11:30 When we think of being good stewards, we may think that God is asking too much of us when He calls us to generously share our time, talent and treasure. However, we must remember that we are not “owners” of anything, we are merely “stewards” of the gifts God has given us. All He is asking is that we give back a small portion, in gratitude, of what He has already given to us.
 

Community Vacation Bible School: Registration is now open for the Carrington Community VBS! Trinity Lutheran is hosting the event this year for students entering K-6th grade from August 4-6, from 6:00-8:00pm. The deadline to receive a t-shirt is July 14th. Holy Father’s Prayer Intention for July: Let us pray for the respect and protection of human life in all its stages, recognizing it as a gift from God.

Volunteers are needed throughout the month of August to help at Carrington’s Daily Bread Food Pantry (Mon, Wed, and Fri’s from 3:30-5:30). This service helps meet an important need in our community! Easy, hands-on training can be provided. Please sign up on the sheet in the back of Sacred Heart Church. If you have any questions, contact Sharon Boehmer at 652-5142 or Angela Boeshans at 650-8857.

Father Leier on Vacation: I will be away on vacation beginning the evening of Thu, July 9th though Fri, July 17th. Weekday Masses, confession, and adoration are cancelled during this time, but people will still gather to pray the rosary and daily readings. Please welcome Fr. Dale Kinzler who will celebrate the weekend Masses on July 11th and 12th. Thank you!
