Stewardship Moment: “…whoever does not take up his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me.” Matthew 10:38 Pope Benedict XVI said “The world offers you comfort.
But you were not made for comfort, you were made for greatness”. “Comfort” puts me first. “Picking up your cross and following Jesus” puts God and others first. Why settle for comfort when you can achieve greatness! Pick up your cross, ask Jesus for guidance on using your gifts and live the life God intended for you!


Community Vacation Bible School: Registration is now open for the Carrington Community VBS! Trinity Lutheran is hosting the event this year for students entering K-6th grade from August 4-6, from 6:00-8:00pm. The deadline to receive a t-shirt is July 14th. Ten years ago, a Helping Hands Ministry fund was established to help parishioners in need in our parishes. Our high school students held a meal/bingo and the profits were deposited into this fund. Anyone in our parishes who needs some extra help with expenses can visit with Father and a determination will be made on approval for payment.

1ST SATURDAY MASS AND DEVOTIONS: Saturday, July 4th at Sacred Heart. Rosary starts at 7:45 am, including 15 minutes of meditation (that Our Lady asks for), Confessions at 8:00 am, Mass starts at 8:30 am. Also, the Fatima prayers will be said as well.
