Stewardship Moment: “Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, ‘Peace be with you.’ But they were startled and frightened…”-Luke 24:36-37 Throughout the day we have many opportunities to “see the face of Jesus” in others and to “be the face of Jesus” to others. Do we take that opportunity to provide “peace” to those we encounter or are we afraid of what others will think of us and do nothing? Pray for the strength and courage to live a “God-centered” life and not a “self-centered” life.

Crowning of Mary/First Communicant Potluck: Due to scheduling conflicts for the Beckley family, we will be celebrating Wyatt’s First Eucharist on Sunday April 28th. After Mass, Wyatt and family will do a processional for the Crowning of Mary. Then we will go to the parish center for a potluck meal wishing him well as he will receive his First Eucharist and Confirmation on May 17th. Group 2 will be serving ham, buns, and beverages. A cake will be provided by the Beckley family for dessert. We ask attendees to bring their favorite dish to share. Come celebrate Wyatt and our Mother Mary!

Sacred Heart Spring Dinner will be held Sunday, April 21st from 4:30-6:30 pm at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall. Serving turkey and all the trimmings.

Heavenly Wisdom by Venerable Fulton Sheen: “Deferred joys purchased by sacrifice are always sweetest and most enduring.”

Formation class for the permanent diaconate will begin August 2025 with applications opening this fall 2024. Interested men and their wives should attend an informational dinner. The last one is Tues, May 7th at St. James Basilica in Jamestown at 6:00 pm. RSVP by April 19th. Contact vocations@fargodiocese.org or 701-356-7900 for more info.

Holy Father’s Prayer Intention for April: For the Role of Women: We pray that the dignity and immense value of women be recognized in every culture, and for the end of discrimination that they experience in different parts of the world.

CCD/CYO CLASSES: Wed, April 17th, from 7-8 pm, Bishop John Folda will be here to speak to
our students. All classes will gather in the church to listen to the bishop.
