Stewardship Moment: “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone…” - Matthew 21:42 Jesus was rejected by the religious and political leaders of his day, as well as ordinary citizens, but he was still obedient to God, the Father. Similarly, living a stewardship lifestyle may cause you to be “rejected” by others, but we, too are called to be obedient. Saying grace before a meal in a restaurant may attract some strange looks from some. But to others it is a sign that God is alive and well!

The 2026 Respect Life poster features the beautiful image, Virgin of the Lilies, by William-Adolphe Bouguereau. The message, “Mary, Mother of Life,” reflects on Our Lady’s distinguished role as mother of all the living. The life of the Blessed Mother teaches us to respect each human life in every stage and circumstance. We ask her intercession in helping us to recognize the gift of human life, even when that gift is unexpected or calls us to make sacrifices. Please read the insert in today’s bulletin.
Today: (October 4th) Is Respect Life Sunday.
October is the Month of the Holy Rosary: This year, we are encouraging each FFF class to say at least
a decade of the rosary in their classroom during the month of October to honor our Blessed Mother. A decade of the rosary will also be said in the church at 7:20 pm for anyone wishing to attend.

Holy Father’s Prayer Intention for October: Let us pray that mental health ministry be established throughout the Church, helping to overcome the stigma and discrimination of persons with mental illnesses.
