St Elizabeth’s church annual Fall Dinner/Bazaar is on Sunday Oct. 11th, serving from 11:30-1pm. Meal includes: Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Scalloped Corn, Glazed Carrots, Relish, Buns, Dessert, and refreshments. Adults/Sr & Jr High-$15, K-6-$7, and Preschool-$3. Take Outs available. There will be a Gift Bucket, Calk Walk starting at 1pm. At 2pm we will have 20 games of bingo that will include two blackouts. Group 1 will be in charge this year. Work Schedules will be at the entrance of the church by Sept. 6th.

Stewardship Moment: “What profit would there be for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life?” - Matthew 16:26 St. Francis of Assisi said, “Remember, you are what you are in the eyes of God, and nothing else.” We often forget this stewardship wisdom when we spend all of our time, talent and treasure to gain more of the world’s riches. We need to set our priorities based on God’s values and not the values of the material world.

1ST Saturday Mass & Devotions: Saturday, Sept. 5th at Sacred Heart celebrated by Fr. Dale Kinzler. Rosary starts at 7:45 am, including 15 minutes of meditation (that Our Lady asks for), Confessions at 8:00 am, Mass starts at 8:30 am. Also, the Fatima prayers will be said as well.

I will be away on vacation beginning Mon. Aug. 31st though Mon., Sept. 7th. Weekday Masses, confession, and adoration are cancelled during this time, but people will still gather to pray the rosary and daily readings. Please welcome Fr. Dale Kinzler who will celebrate the 1st Saturday Mass at Sacred Heart at 8:30 am Sat., Sept. 5th as well as the weekend Masses on Sept. 5th and 6th. Thank you! ~ Fr. Leier
