Stewardship Moment: “And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17 Giving thanks to God and using our words and actions to give all glory to God is the foundation of living a stewardship lifestyle. We were made in God’s image and likeness, gratitude and generosity is in our DNA. As beloved sons and daughters of God, we are all part of God’s family. Using our gifts to help others is our gift back to God and helps grow the Body of Christ here on earth and establishes a pathway to Heaven for each of us.

Christmas Gift: If you were not here for Christmas, we invite each family to pick up a copy of Matthew Kelly’s book “The Forgotten Way”- our gift to you at Christmas. The Forgotten Way is a simple way to stay in tune with God’s Will for your life. It’s a way to align yourself with truth and remain grounded in the enduring moral principles of the Christian faith.

A very special thank you to all who helped in our Christmas celebrations. Also, thanks to all those who took the time to set up, decorate and make the whole church environment one pleasing to the Lord. In addition, a sincere thanks to all those who donated poinsettias to the church this Christmas. May the Lord bless all of you for your good stewardship!

Made For Greatness Winter Men’s Retreat: Rise Up To Greatness: January 23-25, 2026, Maryvale Retreat Center, Valley City. While every man is called to, and in fact desires, greatness, the challenge is not only finding out what that looks like for them, it is also that the goal post keeps moving. What manly greatness looks like as a young single man is different than what it is as a married man, a husband, or even an empty nester. Former Protestant pastor turned Catholic evangelist Keith Nester will assist men to identify what greatness God is uniquely calling them to at their own stage of life. In addition to practical real-life insights, there also will be times to meet the Lord God in prayer and the sacraments, as well as opportunities for rejuvenation. Check it out at www.fargodiocese.org/mfg-winter.

Holy Father’s Prayer Intention for December: Let us pray that Christians living in areas of war or conflict, especially in the Middle East, might be seeds of peace, reconciliation, and hope.
